The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for guiding pupils through their final year of primary education, preparing them for both SATs and the transition to secondary school.
You will:
• Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons across the curriculum
• Prepare pupils for SATs in a structured and balanced way
• Use assessment effectively to drive progress and close gaps
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contribute to a consistent and collaborative KS2 team
What They’re Looking For
This role would suit a Year 6 Teacher who:
• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 desirable)
• Can demonstrate strong classroom practice and pupil outcomes
• Is confident managing expectations in an end-of-key-stage class
• Values structure, consistency, and working within a strong team
